Wings over Wausau this past weekend!!

I thought that the events of the past weekend would be perfect for my first blog. Who knew I would do a blog one day? New experiences all the time….

This past weekend I had a booth at an event I was invited to be part of, the 5th Annual Wings over Wausau Airshow in Wausau, WI.  I was both honored and very excited, and I loved every minute of it!

My booth was positioned within the military section (how perfect is that???) which included representation from every branch and multiple veteran services as well. So many people!! I had people in my booth all the time, asking questions, taking flyers, wanting to know the details. I received a lot of 'thank you's' from families, 'thank you's' for doing this and caring for our service members. That hit my heart fast, and reminded me of the importance behind my business. It truly can make a difference to a service member, a family, a friend.  

There was so much interest in the products, the packages, it validated that I am on the right track and I will just keep working to get the word out there! 

The #1 item of the weekend was the t-shirt “Enjoy your freedom? THANK A VETERAN” which just happens to be one of my favorites as well.  I am left with only (1) Medium, but I will be getting more!!

The event was fantastic with the airshow, activities for kids, food vendors and booths. Of course my favorite was the demonstration from the F-16 Viper team.  That one stops your heart and if I didn't have shoes on, it probably would have blown my socks off too (literally)!!!

I hope to be invited again next year!
